Recovering Deleted Items in Outlook

After email has been deleted from the Deleted Items folder, it is still possible to recover those items within 90 days.

  1. Select the Deleted Items folder within your mailbox.
  2. Select the Folder tab at the top and choose Recover Deleted Items (pictured).

  3. A new window will open showing previously deleted items available for recovery.  Highlight the message(s) you need and select the Recover Selected Items button.
  4. Recovered items will return to the Deleted Items folder within your mailbox.
