Although not all Android interfaces are equal, they do share common settings, so these instructions should work for most Android devices.

  1. Find your Settings then select Wireless and Networks.
  2. Ensure your Wi-Fi is enabled and choose Wi-Fi settings.
  3. Select USF from the list of available networks.
  4. A pop up should present itself in order to edit the security settings and enter your USF network account username and password.  Set the settings to:
    1. EAP Method: PEAP
    2. Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
    3. CA certificate and user certificate can be left as unspecified.
    4. Enter your username in the Identity box
    5. Leave the Anonymous identity blank
    6. Enter your account password
    7. Press Connect.
  5. At this point, your Android device should be connected.  Open a browser or check your network icon to verify network connectivity.
