cool but how do you get a mac on the encrypted wireless?
USF is the only option now. Just turn your Airport on, then select USF. It should then prompt for username and password. I have tested this on a MAC and it took a couple minutes for it to work, but I was able to navigate online just fine.
you also have to "always trust this site"
Though I followed these directions step by step, I was still unable to connect to USF wirelessly. In the end, I did not get a pop-up dialog box asking for my username and password. Up until that point, I got exactly what was expected and described in these instructions.
I was in Achatz 120 on my USF Think Pad Laptop. Is there a resolution to this?
I am finally able to connect to the USF network, however, the service is intermittent and I had to provide credentials after choosing to connect to a network from the Network and Sharing Center screen.
